About Kalivoro

Everyone deserves to stay part of the conversation.

We're not just another hearing aid company. We're a small team with a simple belief: hearing the people you love shouldn't depend on how much you can spend. Here's who we are.

Who we are

Two founders, one straightforward idea

Kalivoro was started by two people — one French, one Belgian — who set out to build something that mattered, rather than something that just made money for a while and disappeared.

We didn't want to chase whatever sold fastest. We wanted to start with something that genuinely helps people in their daily lives, and then do it the right way — honestly, and at a price that makes sense.

Our mission

Help people hear well again — at a price they can actually say yes to.

That's the whole idea. Good hearing shouldn't be a luxury reserved for those who can spend thousands. We want ClearHear to genuinely help people follow the conversations that make up their days — the dinner table, the phone, the people they love.

And we're a business: we're glad when people buy, and we're not going to pretend otherwise. We just decided to do it in a way we'd be comfortable explaining to anyone.

Why we started with hearing

It started close to home

My grandfather has trouble hearing, so this is something I've seen up close rather than read about.

What caught our attention was the gap between countries. In France, where one of us is from, this kind of care is largely covered — getting help isn't something you think twice about. In the United States, it's a different story: the same kind of device can cost thousands of dollars out of pocket, and many people simply go without because of the price, not because the help doesn't exist.

The technology to hear conversations more clearly is real, and it works for everyday mild-to-moderate hearing loss. The thing standing between people and that help was mostly the cost. That felt like something worth doing something about.

What's inside ClearHear

A real hearing aid — not just an amplifier

A lot of people have been let down by "cheap hearing devices" before. Usually, what they tried was an amplifier — something that just makes everything louder, background noise and all. ClearHear is built to do something more careful than that.

8-channel digital processing

It splits sound into separate bands and lifts the frequencies where human speech sits — the ones that fade first. Clearer, not just louder.

Adaptive noise reduction

It eases down the steady background noise of a room or a restaurant while keeping voices forward.

Rechargeable — up to 15 hours

Set it down, it charges, it's ready for the day. No fiddling with tiny disposable batteries.

Discreet in-ear fit, S / M / L tips

It sits quietly inside the ear canal — most people won't notice. Three tip sizes fit most ears straight out of the box.

What it gives back

Back in the room, back in the conversation

The hardest part of hearing loss isn't the silence — it's slowly stepping back from the moments that matter. Smiling and nodding instead of joining in. Turning the TV up. Asking people to repeat themselves until it feels easier to stay quiet.

Hearing more clearly means being part of it again — catching the whole story, answering at normal speed, staying in the room with the people you love.

Help without the announcement

Discreet enough that it stays your business

ClearHear sits inside the ear canal, skin-tone and small. You get the help — not a label that announces it to everyone. For a lot of people, that's what finally makes it easy to say yes.

No wires, no tubes, nothing hanging out. Just a small device that does its job quietly.

In their words

What makes us happy

What makes us happiest is simple: seeing the product actually help someone. When people tell us they can follow a dinner again, or hear their family without asking them to repeat, that's the part that feels worth it. Here it is, in their own words.

"Now I can hear you again!"
My husband is delighted — affordable, and they actually work. So well I'm learning not to talk as loudly. Tip: ease into it; it takes a little time, but it's worth it.

Give it a chance
After a couple of days I realized I needed to give my brain and ears time to adjust to sounds I hadn't been hearing. Give them a chance — you and your family will be glad you did.

Better than I expected
They help me a lot with the TV. At first I had a whistling problem — turned out I had the wrong size ear tip. A week later, problem solved.

Just like earbuds — nobody notices
An affordable alternative to the several-thousand-dollar ones at the doctor's. They feel just like earbuds. No one has noticed they're hearing aids.

Worked right out of the box
Arrived on time and worked right out of the box. Various size adapters for a custom fit, and you can adjust the sound up or down. Easy for my mom.

Where we're headed

Hearing is where we're starting — not where we intend to stop. Over time, we hope to grow Kalivoro into something bigger: finding everyday essentials in health and wellbeing that have been priced out of reach, and putting fairer alternatives in their place.

We'd rather someone return ClearHear and feel respected than keep something that didn't work for them. That's the company we're trying to build.

We're early. Thanks for taking the time to get to know us.
